This Tephra model is outfitted with random carved G-10 scales and a “Dark Earth” acid stonewashed blade made from Bohler K110-D2 steel.
The Knappo Tephra is a custom handmade knife from Chris Knapton of Auckland, New Zealand. New Zealand is a highly volcanic country and the Tephra takes inspiration from these flowing pyroclastic volcanic eruptions. This folder offers a tough, heavy-duty build that remains streamlined enough for comfortable pocket carry. It has gold anodized titanium liners, pivot, and pocket clip in an orange peel finish. The Persian style blade has a jimped tang opener and a flat grind for maximized cutting performance. A solid G-10 backspacer finishes off the design.
