My Parang 12″ Heavy Duku Chandong Machete + Nylon Sheath

The Duku Chandong Parang is a sizable tool, built for chopping. My Parang machetes have hammered 5160 high carbon steel blades with stick tangs that are fitted with large, comfortably contoured beech wood handles. Reinforcing the tang and handle is a brass pin and industrial strength epoxy along with a polished copper collar. MyParang knives are crafted to ensure longevity and safe function when used properly. Includes a heavy-duty nylon sheath. These are the real deal, handmade in Malaysia.

MyParang blades are sourced from Bidor, Perak, world-renowned for their differentially hand-hardened 5160 steel. Eco-friendly wood for the handle is imported from Croatia. These cutting tools are the real deal, made by hand in Malaysia.

This is the heavier and thicker version of the 12″ Duku Chandong Parang. Since making a longer blade would not be practical, MyParang increased the thickness of the blade (hence, increasing the weight). The heavier weight is more suitable for chopping bigger trees.
